Lightstreams Whitepaper

Lightstreams describes itself as a low-cost decentralized network for fast, privacy-centric blockchain applications. The network that went live on 31/03/2019 with an Ethereum-compatible blockchain optimized for Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and reportedly runs faster and at a fraction of the cost of Ethereum. The Lightstreams blockchain uses Tendermint consensus, a Proof-of-Stake mechanism with fast-finality and high transaction throughput. Lightstreams also brings privacy controls to DApps with its Smart Vault product that can be integrated into DApps for managing private information and content.
